Elanic Hospital Featured in RIAS Review
We are delighted to share that Elanic Private Hospital has been featured in the latest edition of the RIAS Review. The project appears within the magazine's Architecture section, which explores how design can contribute to health, wellbeing and better healthcare environments.
The article,"Reimagining a Brutalist Landmark: Elanic Hospital", highlights the transformation of a long-vacant Glasgow city centre building into a state-of-the-art private hospital and day surgery facility. Designed by NVDC Architects and completed in 2025, the project demonstrates how existing buildings can be successfully adapted to meet the complex demands of modern healthcare while delivering a welcoming and patient-focused environment.
The feature also explores the environmental benefits of retaining and upgrading the existing structure, alongside the project's contribution to the regeneration of Glasgow city centre by bringing a vacant building back into active use.

Now on Site: Dental Practice for Scottish Dental Care in Winchburgh
Construction is underway on a new 5-surgery dental clinic for Scottish Dental Care Group, designed by NVDC Architects and located in Canal Quarter - part of the Winchburgh Masterplan in West Lothian.
The clinic is set within a newly built, double-fronted commercial unit designed to be fully accessible and adaptable for healthcare use. The layout supports efficient clinical flow while creating a calm, welcoming environment for patients.
This new clinic will serve the growing Winchburgh community, which is being transformed through the masterplan into a vibrant, well-connected place to live and work.
We’re proud to be working with Scottish Dental Care on this meaningful addition to their network.
